Art Now For AUTISM!

I have finished the piece that I will be sending off for the Art Sale at ART NOW FOR AUTISM.
If you click on the above link you will learn waht this amazing art sale is all about. The SALE begins on October 1 and every penny goes to furthering the cause of AUTISM RESEARCH.

This necklace is 24 inches long and it is made of Fabric Paper beads that have been encircled in copper wire and encrusted with sparkling seed beads. I have been asked to price the piece and I think that I will set the price at 50.00. The necklace will be up for sale at the Art now For Autism site on October 1.. This piece would make a wonderful Christmas present for a lucky someone with the added benefit of the recipient knowing that their gift contributed to the advancement of Autsim Research!

Here are some close-ups!!

I love the copper clasp!

The seed beads are all glass and imported and are a mixture of matte and gloss finishes.

Please stop by the ART NOW FOR AUTISM site! You too, can make a difference!!!

Hi!
First, thank you so much for your recent comment on my blog and especially for passing along a link to Blues Chapel! It is wonderful to know that there are people who were affected by my work enough to share it with friends.

Blues Chapel closed yesterday and I've spent the morning trying to find places for everything now that it's all back home! I've got a storage issue to face!

Now, I've really enjoyed browsing through your blog and seeing the wonderful art you create. Your necklace is great and the cause is so important. I hope it raises as much money as awareness. Also, I like your newly painted shoes! I have more than one pair that ought to include something "intentional" since there's so many "unintentional" dabs of paint on them!

Your necklace is beautiful Elizabeth, I'm sure it will fetch 50.00. I love the colours.

Did you know your shoe painting is spreading? Some of my visitors on the blog have gone rushing off to paint their own. You may have started a new fashion trend :o)
