Working With Hot Colors!

I have almost finished another cuff! This time I had a blast working with lots of hot colors as this was the choice of my soon to be 18 year old niece, Mali. I am so excited about this piece as I think that Mali is really going to love it. It will soon be in the mail along with the cuff for sister Kate, from an earlier post.
I usually take shots of the beadwork before I apply it to the brass cuff. I took photos this time as well , but they are too blurry to post. So here are some shots of the beadwork already applied to the cuff but not completed.

This is not my "GO TO" color pallette, I am more of a cool ocean colors person. But I really love how this turned out and I will probably work with colors more often in the future. Mali has darker skin tones and this will be dazzling on her!!

  1. Wow! Your work is beautiful. I really want to try this, but can't find any brass cuffs... Did you get these on line and is it one size fits all? I sure would like to know, any help would be appreciated. Also do you do all your beading on muslin and then glue it on? Thank you Elizabeth. I wish I was closer, I'd be in your class. Sharon
